Love Talk - Quest Journal, July 24, 2018
In a training I received years ago from Tom Cowan, a Celtic Shaman, I learned the language of Love Talk. While on the hill this past summer, I practiced this magical form of writing which encourages presence and gratitude.
~~~
Beautiful the fern glowing in the morning sun.
Beautiful too the presence of gentle peace.
~~~
Beautiful the snail snuggled in the moss.
Beautiful too the spiral of life on its shell.
~~~
Beautiful the morning forest.
Beautiful too the Quester under the tree.
~~~
Beautiful the woman with striking blue eyes.
Beautiful too the love we shared.
~~~
Beautiful the boy becoming a man.
Beautiful too his love for his Granner.
~~~
Beautiful the gentle woman, healer, friend.
Beautiful too her sweet soul and open heart.
~~~
Beautiful the one who loves dogs and children.
Beautiful too her kind soul and gentle spirit.
~~~
Beautiful the woman who embodies Isis.
Beautiful too her gentle footsteps on the earth.
~~~
Beautiful the songs sung so sweet and powerful.
Beautiful too those who sing with hearts open.
~~~
Beautiful the splendid, quiet morning.
Beautiful too the promise of a new day.
~~~
After filling a page with Love Talk, I found myself naturally changing the form to a kind of Gratitude Talk… I found out later that it was the topic for the teaching in Support Camp that day!!
